Minecraft The World - Original BF MC Server

Just a running commentary on what I'm doing...

The Village is set up.
WorldGuard and WorldEdit are set up.
The Village is now protected in a ~400x600 block. Which unfortunately includes a house that somebody seems to have built on the shore near the tower. Sorry

To do:
* Add a message to let you know you're in The Village.
* Protect a 'City' area for some example structures.
* Define a PvP block.
* Install iConomy plug in and set the parameters.
* Install Towny plugin and set parameters. Towny will let people protect their land by claiming it. You are allowed to claim 16 blocks (16x16) in your own Town. People can join your Town and add their 16 block allowance to the town's block claim limit, Towns can join a Nation. You can sell blocks to other people, I believe.

Of course I mined them, I wasn't going to leave 4 diamond blocks just sitting there!

The City is now set up - 300x300 protected block of virgin forest. Soon to be razed.

I restarted the server now I cannot connect.

When I CAN connect I'll add more user names to the whitelist. PM your user ID to me to get onto the whitelist.

Towny is not yet set up so respect other people's property. No griefing.


Still to do:

* Define a PvP block
* Install iConomy plug in and set the parameters.
* Install Towny plugin and set parameters.

* Maybe load up the MCG.

Does it come up with 'Communication Error' when you see the server in the menu?

Just double click it. The server's running, that message is just saying otherwise.

Have found a swamp biome not that far from the village and have starting building my farm there.

Also, the entrance is between two mountains I lovingly dubbed the "twin towers".

Cheers, I followed the hole down and it wound around and eventually came out the side.

Seems to take a long time to log in - Few tries before I can, game basically freezes until it says cant connect to server..At least 1 other with this problem.

I have this exact problem, not only with this server but with every server I join.

Oh so its not just this server then. Must be the 1.9 patch.

Edit: Jumping the gun a bit, 1.9 aint actually out yet, im just using the launcher..
