Carlton
From least worst to most lol-worthy:

Clayton Oliver - Signed a long-term deal on massive money before going slightly off the rails and turning into an absolute turnip. At least he was good once upon a time, though.

Rating: :$

Brad Scott -
He’s a shite coach but thankfully everyone but Essington have worked that out. Would rather be a whinging tosser than do anything meaningful with the list or gameplan.

Rating: :$:$

Noah Balta -
7 years for this potato. Seven!? I mean… please. Even if he didn’t turn out to be a shit-stain of a human being, this contract still makes no sense.

Tom De Koning -
8 years. Wtf!? $1.7m per year!? Ayyy lmao! I swear even Enron’s financials were in better shape than this absolute rabble.

Editor’s note: Thanks for the first-round compo pick, Saints 👍

Eric Hipwood -
Signed a six year deal recently. Six. Year. Deal. I could play on this weird Rafa look-a-like and keep him to under a goal a game.

Charlie Curnow til 2029 is pretty good.

As is Sam Walsh

Harry McKay on any contract also laughable

The worst contract in footy without a shadow is the one that binds Jacob Weitering to the Carltoon Football Club until the end of 2031. Poor bastard.

Imagine waking up every day knowing you were once the highest rated kid in the country but also wake up every day knowing you will only ever play for Carlton.

I mean **** me that is cruelty to animals.
