thats was the softest effort ive seen in sooooo long at essendon...i was embarressed and angry at the insipid effort of most of our players...we played way to tall and the was no spirit...john should never play again...he,s had his chance and why didnt they play dyson...he has been improving...i wont say no more cause im pissssssseddddd

johns ,bolton,bradley and cole......banish em...ive had enough of mediocre players....im jusy not used to it at my club...i was bought up with guts, toughness and spirit at essendon and i cant excet this at essendon any more ....

Yep. 1 or 2 more performances like that & the "Keep Sheedy at Essendon" train will derail & the Essendon Boards decision will be vindicated beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I think today has convinced me that Johns is a liability to the side. Totally ineffective and not up to the high standards required for AFL football.

Aside from that, we're still playing like a bottom 4 side and going backwards fast. Can only see one win in our next 4 being the Tigers and Im betting we play them into some form also. 2 games in the west and the Blues at the G...Our season is over for 07.

At least you guys get time on free-to-air. I can't complain about NM's coverage on free-to-air this year (because there's been none).

Monfries has no heart. He refused to chase his man, who kicked 2 goals on him from defense! He was terrible. He must be dropped, he doesnt deserve a game for the rst of the season. Send him back to the VFL so he can learn some team values.

Thats interesting- Sheedy has not been giving Bradley a chance on the forward line despite some good games in the reserves. Is the old fox holding him back and planning to bring him along to his new club ?

I would have thought the past 2 3/4 years had already vindicated the decision.

We need a coach who has had no connection with essednon before!

the reason is so all the dead weight on our playing list is given no compassion (like Sheeds seems to do alot) and between 5 to 10 changes are made to the list. I dont care if some of these players have played for 8 years or more (eg. Mark Johnson) they play no part in our future and we need to make some drastic changes!

i would rather sacrifice a few years and have kids on out list that have some pace and skill and at least they might develop into good players

As a proud essendon supporter, i was at the match yestie, comming down from the bush 2 see the game. and ive been to a few afl matches in my life, but i truly believe this was the worst effort made by a team, lowest score by a team as well. im still proud of essendon, but after yesterday, we need to make changes now, for the future
