Let's all join together as Hawks and Roos supporters and collectively shut the hell up. This is a boring arguement and not remotely about football. Arguing passionately about footy should be encouraged, personal sledging can be done privately.
Good point get on with it. Can't believe i waisted a minute reading every one's pathetic posts. In all seriousness it should be a good game. Roos with their backs to the wall and a hawthorn side that is up, but one i don't fully trust yet. Gee i hope we go 5 and 1. I reckon the roos may play some good one on one footy and try and shut down hawthorns rebound off half back. time will tell

After reading that all I can say is,its a free internet public posting forum moron, not a private golf club.Basic translation for you : Get a life.

PS : Your, and in particular Matty's,obsession with ex - Hawks at the Roos is disturbing, fanatical, worrying, sexually questioning and irrelevant to any Kangaroos fans.I may not be welcome here, like anyone cares, but, and I'm sure Dingster will back me up,minimise your visits to ours.Your obsession with Hay and Thompson is becoming a real concern. One that,if you have a partner,s/he must almost be feeling on the outer.
Mate I'm not saying your not welcome, I have no right to say something like that...but what exactly have I said on the Roo board that is offensive or negative towards the Roos.

This has flared up because the Hawks and Roos have been unexpected movers in opposite directions so far this season. Look, what's that got to do with me. IMO, you made a :D:D:D:D up with Hay but you won out of the Thompson trade (both parties were satisfied) At the end of the day, we are only 5 rounds into a LONG season, as Clarko said; somewhere along the line we will string a few losses together while teams below us will string some wins together..... that’s the nature of the competition.

If the Hawks win on Sunday (it will be a tough ask) I reckon we are good things for September action this season; just a gut feel, BUT if we lose, the Roos will finish higher on the ladder (another gut feel)

Yawn.

I have no idea what is going on. A win or lose by 100 wouldn't at all surprise me either way.

We are messy right now, but it's a better side on paper than finished 5th after the H+A so I dunno what to think.

I hate footy.

Exactly, there are so many variables.

I think we are 1.60 with the bookies atm, poor value.

I'm not just saying this but I honestly believe from a punting perspective the Roos are great value at 2.20.

Really, $2.20? It's at TD yeah?

Might have a bash at that. But again, if we got belted I would not be surprised. That doesn't even make sense.

Again, I hate footy.

The worst time to play the Kangeroos?

No way. Not at all.

Its the best time to play the Kangeroos.

I'm not saying its gonna be a win at all, every game is tough, but how could it be a bad time for us?

We are 4-1, they are 1-4.

After many tipped Hawthorn for the wooden spoon, and to be developing for another "two-three years".

The pressure is all on them, no doubt. If they lose they'll cop it big time in the media. I mean massively. We'll go 5-1 and them 1-5... they'll have more Hay and trading taunts etc... whether rightly or wrongly it'll happen. They'll know that, they would be dreading the thought of losing to us after all the ridicule they've copped.

If we lose we are still 4-2 and ahead of expectations, and developing as a side.

I reckon we are in the best possible situation and them the worst.

The pressure is on them, and we still have nothing to lose. If we start hitting the lead they could fall to pieces.

Its going to be one hell of game.

You're right, we may lose this game but we'll still have 4 wins up on the board, whereas last year at the same time we had 1.
Improvement was all most members wanted to see this year, and it's been quite good so far.

I remember I went onto the Geelong boards when I first started posting before round 3 and wished them a friendly good luck... I copped all sorts of smart stuff like "come see us and you'll get bashed on and off the field" as well as "you'll be looking for somewhere to crawl at half time."
I said nothing more until after the weekend, and then posted one word in response after the game... the word was Karma.
I think it's time for us to be quiet and let our football team do the talking for us this weekend.
Ya dig? :thumbsu:

I can vouch that off the field they aren't much chop.
