ESPN's Field Yates reports the XFL has suspended all operations and currently has no plans to return in 2021.
It didn't seem like a sure thing that the league would return in 2021 anyway, but it appears the COVID-19 outbreak was simply too much for Vince McMahon and company to withstand. The Houston Roughnecks (5-0) should be considered league champions, while now-Panthers QB P.J. Walker easily would've run away with MVP honors. The XFL brought a number of interesting innovations to the table, namely no extra points, better kickoffs, and a sky judge. Here's to hoping that spring football becomes a successful reality at some point in the next millennial.

Also, wow, Chris Johnson accused of paying hitmen for a double murder. The two guys had apparently fired at Johnson the year before, killing his friend and him getting a bullet in the shoulder

Yea, two of the six 2,000 yard rushers in a season accused of murders now. Decent strike rate.
