yes we have all heard about beams for today at least but id like to talk about some of the other young guys from last night,

first off mr tooves. well wow wee. mr toovey hats off to you mate.
he had run, didnt turn it over ( well as much ) and went in and got it

Cox- well i know people say he is un accountable, but last night i think showed he has to be in our best 22. the run and carry and the ability to hit the target was fanstic.

macaffer- well i know he was only on for one quarter but he is good, in first quarter he was i think first for dream team points. i know this means nothing but he seemed very cool, calm and collected.

cook- can anyone say mini licuria(running wise)... ran his guts out but still has a little poise/vision when it comes to one on ones.

all in all im optimistic about the future. and wow wee can be the only word to describe this season

Tooves is finally back to the form he showed in his first game.

Shannon Cox currently is in our top 25 players IMO pushing hard for senior selection. He runs, carries, sells candy and really takes the game on. Good ball use too.

Ryan Cook- I think Cooky is in our best 22. Last night, I thought he was very stiff on Foley. The umpires decided to award Foley countless free kicks. Overall, as Wallsy said, he impressed with his composure under pressure, his strength (ability to just break and shrug off tackles) and his disposal. I think he can become a very damaging player rather than a tagger.

Brent Macaffer- showed plenty. Kicked a goal, played part in two others with J-Mac and Fraser and I think he potentially adds more to the forward line than JA.

Ben Reid- starting to belong at senior AFL level. Strong leading, marking and disposal by foot. Will add goal-kicking to that soon. Is versatile enough to play at either end. This kid will become a star.

Alan Toovey- played probably the game of his life. Hopefully he can build on this.

John McCarthy- full of class. Tough, strong overhead, wonderful disposal by foot and backs himself. In our best 22.

Cook is a spud tagger. Who was he tagging any way? It could not have been Foley?

Cox - An excellent game from him. He does everything you could want in a HBF. As has been mentioned before he runs, carries, sells candy and really takes the game on. Good ball use too. He racks up the rebound 50's(he had about 10 in last nights match) and he does it to our advantage ( ie kicks to a team mate rather than blaze away up the field).

Disgraceful if it was. Foley destroyed us and if that's what Cook is going to offer us then he needs to be dropped. Wellinhgam does a better job IMO.
