Yes. The 2008 Hawthorn team was also young by modern standards. Interesting to see whether this becomes a trend like it did in the 50's & 60's, or whether changes to the interchange rules allow veterans to play for longer.

Four of the teams on the list contained a 17yo. Murray Weidemann in 1953 was the youngest ever premiership player at 17y222d.

Youngest in AFL history, not VFL.

But Collingwood were still the youngest in VFL too. 58.
