That's our part of the deal lived up too! Now win this week, and beat Port for us next week to guarentee our top two spot, and at the same time you can scrape into the eight! :thumbsu:
Happy days all round ;)

How can we scrape into the eight? I did a ladder predictor about 10 times and I can't get us any higher than 10th, and that's if some crazy results occur.

Believe it or not it's still possible.
Not likely but still possible, had the saints got up yes it was impossible.

We have to rely again on the eagles next week to beat the bombers.
Adelaide to win only 1 of the last 2 games and get beaten badly in one game and a 1 point win in the other.
Brissy to loose both games against adelaide and geelong
Richmond to pull off a miracle and beat the saints.
Dogs to lose both games.

Of that the only highly un probable outcome is the saints losing next week.

So I suppose these are the teams in order most likely to finish 8th.

1. Adelaide
2. Saints
3. Brisbane
4. Fremantle
5. Essendon
5. Bulldogs

So While we think we are out the dogs are almost defaintely out playing two good sides, the bombers are basically on par with us with 1 easy game and 1 hard game but our percentage is a sight better. Brissy need a minor miracle but are playing well enough to do it. The saints only need a small upset in the pies to beat the crows. While adelaide has 2 tough games but both very winnable. So it's far from set in stone but one thing is for sure! we have to beat the dees tomorrow and win by around 15 goals to make up the percentage gap. So yer it's real unlikely but so is everyone else.

At least we go into the final round with a slim chance, which is a sight better than it looked half way through the season.

i suppose anything is possible, i will keep my fingers and everything else crossed. i guess stranger things have happened

We'd need to win both by about 20 goals, and hope the winner of Adelaide v Brisbane get thrashed next week, and hope about 3 other results go our way.

Not going to happen.

Not nearly that hard, main games (assuming Bulldogs or Essendon don't win BOTH their games) are for round 22 ..

- Brisbane to lose at home to Geelong (feasible)
- Adelaide to lose away against Collingwood (feasible)
- Richmond to beat Saint Kilda (possible if Saints have as many out again this week).

It would then mean our winning margin against Port plus Adelaide's losing margin to Collingwood needs to add up to around 80 points difference. So if Collingwood get into some form and win by 60, we have to beat Port by around 20 ...

Possible, but improbable ..

how much freo gotta win by?
doubt we'll see crows get thumped by pies
tiger and cats and egirls do the rest for us
