How about we start igniting some reasonable debate about serious football issues instead of holding each others hands and bringing peace on the world.

Let's start talking about how Eddie McGuire's monopoly on football is so friggin unhealthy - or is it - did Ron Casey not put himself in a similar position.

What about the sale of Waverley, the issues of the game like do we need to change the rules to avoing flooding etc, is the game becoming one more of tactic than the individual.

This can be a good site and many interesting topics have been raised, but how about igniting some passionate debate on various topics rather than becoming close, intimate wonderul friends.

Dodongo thinks you do have a small point there but Dodongo thinks that there is no footy issues to be raised at the moment as the footy season hasn't started and there is jack all to talk about.

As for you Richmondfan, you don;t have a helluva lot to talk about supporting them and I notice you dont even make reasoned argument when Richo and his abliity is raised as an issue.

But that is ok, you and sandie can feel free to turn the site into some form of romantically linked, lets meet new chums website - but I did think it was a footy site, the point I am making.

As for this being a crap post, the sad thing is I agree and yet it is probably still in the best three or four on the current list.

I agree with you here, but unfortunately, because it's been so long since we had any footy, all these topics have been done to death many times. Which is why people are posting such dumb threads. I must admit in the past week or so I have just skimmed down the list of threads and don't even bother reading most of them....

Roll on footy season, I'm starting to become seriously deprived.
