Great movie, but people seem to go on about it because it’s what everyone else does. They think it makes them look cool and deep to call it their favourite movie.

The Green Mile is better

I liked Shawshank before it was cool.

Also it's been re-run on commercial TV that many times that it's probably uncool now.

I never warmed to Green Mile. Might need to give it another chance.

I didn't like Shawshank or Forrest Gump, thought both were overrated, loved Pulp Fiction though, still one of my favourite films.

I can't watch it anymore. Nor Reservoir Dogs. Just seen them too many times. Yet I could watch Forrest Gump again. Ironic no?

My all time favorite Silence of the lambs ive banned for at least 5 years- maybe more. Have seen it too many times

Who still has a DVD player? and do you still play your old DVD's? I couldn't be arsed looking for and loading an actual DVD when everything at my fingertips nicely organized on a hard drive.

I also have an 8 head VCR under the spare bed next to the Mactinosh my wife thinks she threw out.

I'm prob up to 350 bluray/4K

It still had some smart/clever dialogue in it. But yeah, completely agree.

What about Ryan Phillpe the "non racist" cop killing an innocent black dude.


Brokeback Mountain clearly should have won BP that year, but it wasnt "In" to do gay films yet. So hence why it was overlooked by those homophobic dicks in the academy.
