Theres a chick at work who's carrying twins. She is only 7 months and looks massive! poor thing. NO morning sickness tho- none the whole time.
Yet the US accent can be imitiated pretty well. Never thought Christian Bale was a Brit after first seeing American Psycho and Batman Begins

The generic US accent is pretty easy to do, trying to do other US accents like a Southern accent is harder to do.
When I was in Virginia which is mostly the South surprisingly, you learn to say "Hey" or '"How y'all doin'" as a greeting and '"Appreciate it" for thanks.
There's a Seinfeld episode in the making based on this premise!

The appeal of 'The Young Ones'......Sorry, I just don't get it.....Rated it as pure trash, right from the get-go, along-side of The Goodies.

Maybe it's because you're a bit older than me. I was in my early teens when it came on and the slapstick humour made me p*** myself, I was introduced to some great bands that I never would have found through my folks, and the my nascent interest politics meant that a lot of it also made my ears prick up and want to learn a little more. Some would argue my politics haven't moved on much from there.
Im older than both of you and I loved it

It was most definitely unique....And God knows I tried to like it.....I liked the premise, but it stunk in it's style & delivery.
It's one of the things Ben Elton did that I didn't like....His late-night show was putrid.
Perhaps it was the influence of Alexei Sayle, whose stuff I never liked; & Rick Mayall.
Then you get Blackadder with Rowan Atkinson & Richard Curtis as collaborators....We're talking finely polished craftsmanship there.
I'm lazy. Surely that counts as "other reasons".
