It came at a hell of a cost to Aboriginal Australia but losing the Voice referendum was the best thing that could have happened to Albanese because it let Dutton’s Libs continue with the delusion that they spoke for the silent majority and led to the train wreck of an election campaign.

Its no lie

Actually my thought process is virtually identical in real life. I carry and voice the same opinions that I have online in person - race, religion, politics. Haven't been blacklisted anywhere.
Irrelevant to whether you're a troll

What is an "official trade request" in the AFL? Is there a form like if you work for Coles or Woolies and want to transfer to a different store? Or does it just mean that the player said "I would like to be traded to XYZ" instead of "I am open to being traded to XYZ"?

The second one as far as I know.

I don't understand why food trucks are still a thing. They used to be cheap and cheerful food you could get quickly, now they are almost as expensive as a sit-down meal and usually set up in places where you have to line up for 40 minutes plus. I think their time has come, as usual, another good thing ruined by greed.

I think they became prevalent through Covid as businesses shit their doors and tried to re-tool

They then went back to the restaurant prices without the major overheads like rent or electricity

Agreed
Not to mention the portion size is about half the size of what it should be

I paid over $7 for a tiny 6oz coffee from the back of a kombi van and was fuming afterwards.

Tasted like shit too.

Coffee from these vans is starting to get real expensive

How thieves could steal jewels from the Louvre so easily, you would think the security there would be better.

They might have trouble selling them though, they couldn't just take them down to the French version of Cash Converters.

In 2025 people will go to a food truck and pay restaurant prices then sit around on plastic chairs (if available) and use disposable cutlery - but will get restaurant food delivered by an Indian student on a bike.

I don't trust food truck 'events'. They have them in Forrest Place for a few months a year, they shut down Beaufort St in Inglewood one night a week from around this time of year etc. Yeah your overheads are low for the truck but I'm guessing being a vendor at one of these things doesn't come cheap.

I don't understand how drivers can be so awful at reverse parallel parking, even tho they have driver assists and do it most days at the school dropoff and pickup. Surely you'd learn from the repetition?

Yep with reverse cameras in cars there is really no reason to not be able to do it well.

Historically Adelaide has had a few food truck locations over the years

Cavan Hotel is fairly good

Norwood somewhere used to be good ( Gough )

Pie Floater van in Adelaide

I see one has popped up in Murray Bridge - baked potatoes etc
