There should be a thread "things that make you cringe" and her visit + her fans all carrying on like they have should be the first post.

I havent been following it BUT the footage i have seen was enough to make me want to close my eyes, concentrate really hard and hope when i open my eyes I am in a parallel universe where obsessing over any type of celebrity is looked down on.
I'd imagine your face has a permanent cringe Trix.

hahaha just kidding, it's just that all your posts seem to be pissed off and complaining about something. I'm sure you're a swell guy in real life.

I don't get the appeal of grilling clerks. Yesterday a coworker was telling us about how he filled in a 3 day car registration at the Motor Registry office, and grilled the girl behind the counter about the pointlessness of the "Gender" question. He was really bragging about how much of a big deal he made of it. Reckons he even claimed it was sexist. I was like, "You realise the girl behind the counter is probably on minimum wage, and has nothing to do with how or why the forms are made? She probably cares less about it than you do."

But for some reason it's just considered cool to be able to give clerks a hard time. I'm sure it's a superiority thing, but i just don't see the appeal.

I've never worked retail (or as a clerk), but I can imagine these types of customers are a daily occurence. If grilling clerks is considered cool, then I really dont know what to think anymore.

There's a no u-turn sign on the Princes Highway that has the hours 10pm to 6am or something like that that I don't get. I wonder if they stuffed up the sign and it was supposed to be 6am to 10pm as I do a u-turn there to get to the other side of the road to get petrol. If i got fined I wouldn't be happy.

there's a no right turn into greeves street st kilda that is something like 10pm to 6am but that is because of all the hookers down greeves street. trying to inconvenience their clientèle or something i guess.

It would make you second guess if it's worth it I guess. Similar to going to the extra yard for the missus. You must way up the pro's and con's (pun not intended)

I will never understand the motives behind why people become lollipop ladies/men. I mean maybe some of them are just lonely grandparents wanting some interaction or something, but the one's that I used to pass on my way to school were the weirdest creeps I've ever encountered.

I will never understand why it compulsory to vote for people who don't demographically represent me. Julia Gillard is on record as saying voting is staying compulsory because that's how this country works. Go back to December last year and AUSTRALIA didn't vote on the Palestine debate at the U.N.
Why do I have to vote for one of these donkeys? Why do I have to take time out of my day to queue up and say I dislike one less than the others? Democracy includes the right to say "Nope I'm abstaining cos I don't believe ANY of you can do the job". I don't get why I can't do that.

I think some of them have competitions with each other to see who can hold up the most traffic:) .

I think voting should be optional. Why should people who couldn't give a **** who wins (like myself) get to say who runs this country
I used to think more or less the same thing but there is a decent reason.

It makes it much harder for extremist nutjobs to obtain political power. Instead we just get stuck with more or less identical incompetence.

Really? How many extremist nutjobs has the UK had in power in the last 100 years?

Because we are all in this together man. People have died to receive what you enjoy as a birthright.

We're not in this together though, are we? Generally we're in this for ourselves. Not to venture into dangerous areas but those people who died did so to protect our freedoms and our choices. Not to enforce us to use them.
