LMAO to all those posts above. :D

I remember during that game down at KP, I think the commentators called the Melbourne players "witches hats".
Yep, watched the season highlights DVD yesterday. I believe it was Russell who said "It's worse than a training drill. They're playing against witches hats"

You missed a good game today Catfish!!!!!!!!

I remember my own little quips that day... including: "If you look closely you can see the knife sticking out of his back" (on Bailey walking out at half time) and then "What? Hasnt he been sacked yet?" At 3/4 time.

Man that was like watching a car crash that day.

Oh, I was watching. Game was on live here at 9pm on TSN. I enjoyed that one :D

Side note - my wife had signs of going into labour the other day. It ended up stalling. Baby decided to wait until pretty much right after the game. Been up all night with wife having contractions and will be off to hospital soon. Kid let me wait til the game over :thumbsu:

without going into much detail i dont understand how one can
1. Date a girl (like i did) help her out so much with life, love and help her find a job pretty much help her like life again
2. Get so attached but she still keeps in contact with her ex bf, has countless guys after her makes you feel shit for helping her out... mind you helping her out i had lost all my mates
3. Break up- goes back to her guys no thank you for the above help
4. Has me without any mates- struggling

That sounds like a shitty situation, and I feel for you.
However, I don't understand how one can give up all of his mates helping a girlfriend out. To be perfectly honest, that was a mistake on your part.
We all make them, and I feel for you. As the old saying goes, and while it is not always correct, "Bro's Before Hoes."
Hope it all works out though, mate.

Eg 1. of why you shouldn't let women dominate your life.

She'll be right, tbh it sounds like you're in that awkward breakup phase where you block off socialising due to it being a relative 'obscurity' in the scheme of recent developments rather than you not having any mates or anything overly dramatic like that.

Thanks mate. It sure was, but these mates were always ratting her out calling her names, i did the knoble thing and tried to stand up for her, so she knows that i was a person to rely on. Mistake yes, but i can only learn from it, hopefully make new mates on the way.

That says much more about her than it does about you. It's pretty difficult straight away, but you'll realise that she's not worth it.
