You're 17 and like all 17 year olds you don't know your arse from your elbow.
You make far to many assumptions. You see two examples of something in society and spout it all over Bigfooty like you've done some groundbreaking sociological study. I've seen you quote a theory that was not unproven and not backed by any authority like it was your bible.

I may not know my arse from my elbow but unlike you I can at least admit when I don't know shit about a particular topic and shut the **** up.

Yeah, my bad. Back on topic, I don't understand why people post on Bigfooty with the sole intention of tearing people down. ;)

Also, I don't understand having daytime naps. I always wake up feeling like shit. o_O
I think there's some studies that suggest a short nap (20-30 minutes) can be beneficial.
Longer sleeps can be problematic though

Is it your REM cycle stuff? I love a good nap but needs to be right in the middle of the day, anything after 3pm ruins your night.
Might have been but I honestly can't remember. Just recall being surprised that such a short sleep could be of benefit. Referenced siestas somewhere along the line

I think i may have read the same thing, a few 20-30 min naps with a solid 2-3 hour sleep in a day are supposed to be better for you. REM cycles go in 2-3 hour waves as well from memory, those JAWS bands supposedly slowly wake you when you are at your lightest sleep point and it's supposed to make you less groggy when you wake up. 3 or 4 bits of random memory make a fact...

Yep I couldn't care less if my missus decided to become the town bike and I'm sure she wouldn't have a problem if I started shagging anything with a pulse:confused:

Guess I don't know my arse from my elbow either
what is that all about?

Last time I checked you were late 40s. You have been through enough to know how you feel.

Engimal is 17. At 17 you don't actually know what you really think on this stuff. Being an insecure teenager is a totally different ball game to being married for 10+ years. He has no clue how he would feel because he's never been married for 10+ years. He has no real concept about how expectation and relationships change (some say "mature") over time.

Never said your opinion isn't valid, just said any 17 year old's opinion on this subject is not valid. It's like people without kids having opinions on parenting.

Really. You're 17 and so far you have a strong opinion on how you will feel when you've been married for 10 years, as well as a strong opinion on opposite sex interaction.

Not sure why it hasn't dawned on you that you're 17 and not really in any sort of position to know?

At what age is someone in a position to know QS? If you are are going to dismiss the opinion of a poster purely because of their age then the demographics of this website suggests you will gain little enlightment at all from here, which would the lead to the question; why do you bother at all?

I've never once said I have a strong opinion on marriage, fool. I said I don't understand why people would cheat on each other, and that's a completely fair statement for anyone to make. As for your latter point, yes I do. You were posting in a thread about the feeling of sexual attraction towards someone and I can quote that. You must have hit puberty very late if you don't think a 17 year old understands sexual attraction.

Anyway, I'm not going to let you ruin another thread. A think I don't understand about life is why quickstraw isn't on my ignore list, because that's where he should have been a long time ago. Cya.

Are you saying a person at 17 will likely know? Just yes or no will do. Thanks.

On those two subject matters yes. Just like I'd dismiss your opinion on vaginas if you had one.

which would the lead to the question; why do you bother at all?
He shouldn't bother discussing such matters. He's probably better suited to discussing Justin Beiber or something.

I don't mind someone having an opinion based on what they perceive rather than what they've experienced, however of they have a ridiculous opinion they should expect to be called out on it

His amazement at your post wasn't silly. Ive been married for 26 years and if either me or my wife slept with someone else it would put a strain on our marriage. If you're comfortable with it good luck to you but his comment wasn't out of line even if it is different to your view
