I feel like throwing a glass at the TV set everytime I hear something like this on the news. My folks were watching the 4:30 news the other afternoon, and one of the stories was "Mariah Carey falls over" /facepalm.

I make sure if the 6pm news is on the lounge television set, I only come in for the sport and weather, because most of the 'news' on them, isn't really at all.

I've got a friend who is an Essendon supporter who says Collingwood is his second team. I've tried to explain how that is not possible but he won't listen. To be fair his wife does barrack for Collingwood so I guess that's an excuse.
