Rumour is rife that Woosha will be offered the Freo coaching job by the end of the week. Although it could be seen that we are not learning from our past mistakes and going for coaches without proven AFL records, Woosha's appointment could be a god send.

1) He is a Freo person thru and thru and knows and is known around the port city.
2) He is loved by general public.
3) He is a highly intelligent and open person who is an excellent
public talker.
4) He has earned the respect of everyone with his tough, no nonsense, hard at the ball ( and person ) style of play, thus giving the Dockers an air of confidence with his presence.
5) He has a dash of mongrel in him.
6) He is a South Fremantle Bulldog.
7) He is also a chemist.
8) The media would not dare cast any aspersions on him or a club he is associated with.
9) He would toughen up the Club physically and mentally.
10) He's not Damian Drum (sorry, let's not get personal).

That's what I reckon.

That's what I reckon.

By all means have Woosha on sum kind of short list.
But certainly not at the top.
The fact remains we must go for a Pagan or Wallance and hand them a signed blank check.
If all else fails then maybe we should approach woosha,
But only as a last resort.
After all he isnt going anywhere.

My opinion is get pagan or wallace for 3 or 4 years and have woosha he "deputy", and merely groom woosha for the top job for a longterm period of time.
