Add Lomachenko and Usyk to that as well, the Ukrainian boxers have carried themselves in an elite way particularly since this war started. Of course Vitali deserves special recognition as Mayor of Kiev, top shelf in every way as a bloke it seems.

I shouted my AgedCare helper lunch today for American Thanksgiving. We went to a Latin American restaurant. Food was good, though my helpers chili con carne empanada was too hot for her.

I made myself a small turkey roast with stuffing(boxed), gravy and cranberries and a caesar salad. There's enough leftovers for tomorrow. Gone are the days here when I'd make a full Thanksgiving dinner and invite friends over and make turkey sandwiches for the school staff for the next day. The last time was 25 years ago.

Honestly though I would give hipages a go. Look it up in your app store. I have used it many times to get small jobs done. What I don't get is how he was able to "get away" with these acts within a childcare setting for nearly 2 decades and there's seemingly no red flags raised by colleagues throughout that period

There wasn't the attention on these cases back then. Plus molesters usually present themselves as friendly and trustworthy, just like this bloke did.

The explosion in online information and discussion over the last 10-15 years has got everyone hyper-vigilant now. Vigilance is good but it's a bit of a shame that male teachers, childcare workers, youth leaders are now looked on with suspicion. I hope no perfectly innocent man is ever accused.

Had an old small tv I purchased about 10 years ago and gave to my ex when she moved out as I had since upgraded the lounge room tv.

Slowly buying new bits and pieces to fill in the old furniture slots and came across a tv on a local Facebook page for free - smart tv, 65”, couple of years old, but the wifi connection doesn’t work, said they had just been using a chromecast.

I planned to do the same, but did a factory reset as all their accounts were still logged in.. after the factory reset the internet works again!

My only dilemma now is that I don’t have a large enough cabinet to sit it on, think I will be wall mounting it!

Early start for my Saturday

Nice rainy weather that will hopefully bring the temperature down a bit.

Thus far I put the 2024 grand final on as "background noise" - watching it periodically while I do some domestics in the house. Been ripping a few of my 4K title purchases throughout the week, will begin to copy them all over to an external hdd shortly. While that's going on I'll be heading off to the shops shortly to get some supplies (not from Woolworths obviously lol), come back and do more house domestics.

Overall a chill day planned.
