Part 6 is over there:

It's nice to get a win like that.

I bought a Yamaha home theatre system off fb for $50 because the centre speaker no longer worked. Got back, tested it, yep, kaput.

Laid out all the tools, was just about to take the screws out when I thought "Naaahhhh, couldn't be..."

Yup. Changed from "none" to "large" and it hasn't skipped a beat since.

My wife organised a Christmas market fundraiser held last night and has raised over $7,500 for Australian Hay Runners to enable hay to be delivered to drought affected farmers in our region.

Took doggies to breamlea beach yesterday.
I used to take old dogs who have passed there all the time.
I really should layed their ashes there ...

Seen some chow chow dogs they blue tongues.

Little man got to play with Aussie cattle pup.

Spoke a lady her go got cancer 😢.

Pity the rock pools were not exposed > high tide.

The river used to go into the sea.
But it wasn't like that yesterday .

I remember crossing it when it was swallow and came back when it was deep we had to swim a cross.

The sand had those wind line patterns in it .
Same with the water in the river.

Hats off to her mate. Thats an amazing effort. We don't appreciate how tough the farmers are doing it this Spring. Rainfall has been terrible

It's a great organisation, been going for many years.

It hasn’t helped with the government not recognising that parts of our region haven’t had decent rain for the best part of a decade. However thanks to her advocacy, the SA government announced some drought relief funding this week $2 million for fuel subsidy for charities like hayrunners and $18 million in drought assistance. I’m pretty much doxing who my wife is but she has been bloody amazing for our region and has fought so hard during our floods and now our recognised droughts. The SA premier has even mentioned he finds it hard to say no to my wife when she asks for something for the region.

Yeah my wife just got off the phone to Linda who runs the charity. The money raised will purchase another 56 bails of hay to come over which is awesome.

Had an old small tv I purchased about 10 years ago and gave to my ex when she moved out as I had since upgraded the lounge room tv.

Slowly buying new bits and pieces to fill in the old furniture slots and came across a tv on a local Facebook page for free - smart tv, 65”, couple of years old, but the wifi connection doesn’t work, said they had just been using a chromecast.

I planned to do the same, but did a factory reset as all their accounts were still logged in.. after the factory reset the internet works again!

My only dilemma now is that I don’t have a large enough cabinet to sit it on, think I will be wall mounting it!
Cost me $30 in total
For the wall mount 😆.

People who are a bit more savvy than me, what do I put on the unit under it?

Had today off due to having over a day's worth of time in lieu.

Got both lawns looking done and they are looking bloody beaut.

Same.

Best job with the lawns for mine.

Lines came up a treat.

Adding to the above, I hadn't done the lawns as it was too damp and sodden the day before at mine. (The day the bins get put out.)

I hadn't heard any green waste trucks driving by so I thought at the time, "I'm gonna hedge (no pun intended) my bets and mow both lawns to put the clippings in the green bin to put out on the nature strip" just after the rubbish truck swung by and emptied my bins.

Suffice to say, my gamble paid off and the green bin was emptied not even 3 hours after I mowed.
