Part 6 is over there:

Speaking of different things in bottles.
In the 80s my parents had a dinner party inviting my father's work mates and partners to dinner.
Afterwards drinks. My mum used to love blackberry nip and my dad a beer. My parents had a bottle of brandy too. One couple opted for the brandy. They all finished the night no worries. Next day my little sister, 16 yrs old, couldn't stop laughing. Her and her friends a week earlier drank the brandy whilst my parents were out and to hide the fact filled the bottle to the same mark with black tea.
They must have thought my parents were nuts. 🤣

My doona is tucked in the optimal position - tight at the bottom and at the right height that I don't need to pull it further (at shoulder height) to hide under it.

I don't get it right very often but when I do its luxurious.
I need two doonas, a thick one for sub 10 degrees and a thinner one for 11 to mid teens.

I survive with one and I sleep with just the doona. I find having a doona + blankets/sheets too smothering in both winter and summer. Actually this past summer I basically slept on top of the bed most nights. Didn't stop the habit until April when it was finally getting cooler at night

Bought a new LG Smart TV. After a week or so of playing around with it discovered LG include 500+ random channels to access, a lot of them Korean but there are a few 24 music channels which work well to have on in the background.

I think I've got similar on my Samsung but because I've got a Foxtel box and watch everything via that (including accessing various streaming options) I don't even touch the TV remote other than to turn the TV on

I was playing around with something on the TV itself one day and found these random channels - maybe I should check them out again

We must be the only 2 people left in Australia with Foxtel judging by the endless melts about Kayo in countless threads

Got in the car for a lil road trip this morning and my son asked, “mum, can you please put a 70s playlist on?” Kiddo has good taste.
Mate of mine's fourteen year old grandson is getting into Wu Tang Clan which we agreed meant it was time for his grandad to hide his stash a bit better.
