Yep - I have to note on my anaesthetist notes that I don’t wake up very well, but there’s an injection they have given me with past surgeries and it sorts the issue out if they give it to me pre waking up.

Got an appointment with a neurosurgeon and only another 4 week wait, pretty happy with that considering it’s the public system.

On Sunday, we visited the Heavenly Queen Taoist temple. It's dedicated to Mazu, the Goddess of the sea - but she's more generally prayed to for good luck. It was blowing a gale and raining but as soon as we got there it brightened up and became quite tranquil. We ascribed it to Mazu's influence. Just by chance (or was it?) it was the Ghost Day festival where people make offerings so their ancestor's souls can be returned to the underworld. A big part of it is burning stuff. There was a line of people with bags of brightly coloured paper, cardboard houses and pretend money. It all got stuffed into what looked like a large pizza oven. They were giving plates of food in return for a small donation. Everyone was super friendly. I think they were pleased to see some non-Chinese people there.

Took my dog Wally to a new vet dis morning .

I'm very happy with them.
Vet was great with him checked him all over and took bloods that the vet yesterday didn't do.
I just wait on the bloods if it's bad or not ...I don't wanna know if it's bad ,I need to know at the same time.

I finally going to see my tiger moth flight footage I took on my birthday late last year.

I didn't open it straight away.
Then I couldn't see anything bye the sounds of others had the same issue.

Took doggies up the beach dis morning.
I left my dog bag on the rocks and kept on walking low tide just broke.
Then one of dogs decided to drop other a nice lady gave poo bag.
Then I my way back the waves came in
We walked back another way.
And bag was still there.
I doubt anyone wanted a bag with 3 turds in it.
