I have 4 sets of lights up and am already struggling with power points. Where the hell do you plug all this in?

Theres lots (& lots) of 6-point power boards in boxes, fed by multiple extension cords leading back to 2 power points with timers set to run 8pm to 11pm

2 boxes, 2 extension cords, 1 6-point power board and 1 4-point power board

I think I might need specialist help

At least all that electricity should dissuade you from pissing over the fence.



These are the Temu ones we put up just over a year ago, still going strong, so Mrs Post ordered some more plus some coloured ones and a little fibre christmas tree thingy that changes colours. The driveway is very festive. I am now paranoid about some methhead sneaking in and stealing them.

When we started expanding the dis[play we had people start walking up the lawn itself.
Then after the giant snowman (from Costco) people coming up next to the bedroom windows to take pictures.

Made myself a temporary / decorative fence with pvc, stripes, some painted solar laneterns and ribbons and then running lights across which solved the problem

Then Mrs Syd wanted to add more to the lawn so its gotten bigger each year

Pegging and crawling on the lawn cabling can GAGF though
Kills me every year
