It pleases me when I flash my lights at a driver that the cops are down the road and they wave back.

Of course there's no cops down the road it just pleases me that I trolled them and they waved back.

Going to give the dog a bone and sip on a chardy with feet up in my sarong..could life get any better today.:)

Pruning. I don't know what it is about taking a massive pair of ****-off shears to a living thing and cutting it into something nice and and geometrically tidy, but it is inordinately satisfying.

I'm hearing you. Once you start you almost can't stop and before you know it, almost bald shrub... oooops that's me. Just give me a pair of shears and I'm Edward Ssissorhands. :thumbsu:

I love mowing as well. You see what you've achieved when all finished while you kick back with a cold one. :thumbsu:

Cold weather and footy on the TV.

Spending two weeks in the south island of NZ with five days in Queenstown and eating Fergburger with the girlfriend on the foreshore with a huge, contented grin on your face after jumping out of a plane.

Was such an awesome holiday.

I was on the tram today on my way to university. The people across from me were having a loud conversation. One of the them mispronounced 'here' as 'hear'. Naturally, being the good samaritan that I am:
Me: Sorry my good sir, but I can't help but noticed you pronounced 'here' as 'hear'.
Him: Why, so I did! I'm ever so sorry to subject you to such abject verbal diarrhea.
Me: That's quite okay. It's not often that people are so receptive to constructive criticism.

He got off at the next stop and we parted with a handshake and a smile on our faces. It was a great start to the day, only to be ruined by that presumptuous leaf.
