I gave blood for the first time the other day, it feels good that I've gave something thats from me and actually might be helping someone's life.

Although who ever uses it might get high cholesterol lol.
Such a simple thing to do that actually makes a difference.

I give plasma once a month and always walk out feeling life I've done something worthwhile.

Did you feel the need to tell everyone about it on FB like anybody who gives blood does?
I don't have Facebook. Had it once for a week and deleted it as I feel insecure about it.

I've got issue within myself that I need to deal with but I haven't had the confidence to start a Facebook account and put my life on the Internet.

Apart from bigfooty I don't use any other social media apps or other forum websites.

I did it once at uni. Nurse had 3 goes at finding the vein and then the blood didn't flow quick enough for it to be useable anyway. Found out my blood type though.
I squeeze a stress ball and have races to see how quick I can finish. It's quite the sport down at my blood bank :p

i did that once, but it was more about showing my friends hey this is a good thing to do and its so easy - wasnt about the brag. i just know people whose lives have been saved partly becuase of people donating.

i mean hey its better than the wankers that let everyone know they went to the gym or had ******* toast for breakfast

How do you know, they didn't say anything to me, I just gave blood and haven't received feedback.
We didn't get to the donating part, they rejected me during the questionnaire.

My mum's blood was rejected after she donated though, because of an illness she had as a child. She got a phone call or letter about it, so I'm sure yours was fine.

Dear Piss Poor,

We thank you for your blood that was recently donated. The consistency and texture of your blood was very impressive, it flowed extremely well and after careful consideration here at Red Cross we would like to offer it to another person in need on your behalf.

Thank you, now that wasn't so hard was it.
My blood must be good because Mosquitos seem to love it in the warm weather.

I got US Netflix, completely legitimately of course.

There is so much stuff on there

Heard a lot about Parks & Rec, so started watching it.

Took me sooooo long to pick.

Seriously Australia is having sex with someone and it isn't consensual

received a call from agl today. the energetic bloke was full of zest and said because im a loyal customer he wants to offer me electricity and gas special deal for end of financial year (aka EOFY).

i inform him that although yes im with you for gas, i moved away for electricity for some months now.

zesty (my nickname for him) said yes that's why i want to offer you a great deal especially as the winter months are coming. when is it a good time to call you back so we can compare you current bill to what i can offer?

my stern reply went something like this: i moved away cause you guys never offered me any deals. and now cause its EOFY you wanna give me something?

zesty says yep ok no worries. have a good day peter north.

this shits pleases me

Why did you get rejected?
