I get many don't enjoy the sport, but watching Jason Day now. A couple of holes from another big win. He'll be the best Aussie golfer ever before he's done.

Had the sub to pgatourlive for a few months now. He's amazing. Misses the fairway a bit but his recovery and putting is superb.

Also grown a healthy respect for Jordan Spieth, he has a great short game and is always a chance with the long twisty putts.

I was away from work all week and Friday was a holiday. Totally messed my days up! Don't know why I thought he won. Final round is today and he still leads though. And I stand by what I said. Haha.

Was at a little seaside village yesterday. They had these people walking around as pirates. One was a young cute woman in a corset with plenty of cleavage. My 3 year old got awestruck and whispered to me "Dad, the pirate is beautiful".

His performance in the Players was marvelous. Short course that didn't reward ball smashers and punished wayward players with large water features. Caught out many of the worlds best but Day just streeted them. His class is real and he is only getting better.

Like I said earlier, he misses the fairway. Why he bothers pulling out an iron and then still misses the fairway who knows. He might as well just try to smash it down the middle. I mean you don't really deserve to be #1 if you can't hit a fairway driver/wood when the pressure is on in the final few holes of an event. Still gets a decent payday but where he is already he isn't playing for the money.

DJ is amazing right now but he will always have demons and his popularity will suffer for it. The Wayne Carey of golf. Some will forgive him because of his natural charisma and others will think he's a pig. Whatever, he smashes the ball 300 yards and very straight and then lands the ball right next to the pin, as long as he is putting well he is unbeatable even by the likes of Day/Spieth.

ok, so he missed the fairway. if you are talking about the 15th (I think) where he put his second into the water, of course he's going to pull out an iron. he was laying up. a game of cms, and it showed as the ball rolled into the drink.

as for deserving to be no 1. he does deserve it. his form leading upto the bridgestone was steady, and consistent. he acquired ranking points along the way that were available to others. got the job done.
if the no 1 ranking is based on whether you are able to hit the fairway with the driver or not then the sport needs a shakeup
