I was amongst the port cheer squad for the 2007 GF.. it was glorious
I feel very similarly, it was a great day. I still have my WEG posterOne of my Crows supporting mates rates the 2007 GF, as more enjoyable than either of the Crows' flags.
we can't be friends...Yeah I don't get that ppl enjoying other team's losing more than their team winning.
Also dont get supporters going to GF when their team isnt playing.
I'm sure you're aware the Port/Crows rivalry is more than a bit unusual, it makes the Sunnis, and Shias look normal.Yeah I don't get that ppl enjoying other team's losing more than their team winning.

can confirm - was indeed mad, then very happyI've been to a handful of finals with no Geelong. 1997 prelim Crows v Dogs was mad.
One of my favourite games that I've been to is the 1986 first semi between Port, and Woodville, and I'm a Sturt fan. It was the first sign of Malcolm Blight's coaching genius, Woodville had been hopeless for thirty years, and Port were all powerful, although they probably would have been considered in a "rebuilding phase", if we'd used that terminology back then. It was a great story.I semi-agree with Shell. I have no real interest in watching another team win a flag live. Must also make for a strange atmosphere with a stadium full of neutrals.
