Doing nice random things for strangers.
Had lunch at Red Rooster today, and gave my newspaper to another diner there (I was reading a novel). They gave it back to me as they left- so I left the paper on top of where you put your tray- so other people can share the love.

Deciding that instead of waiting 2 hours alone at a cold university and then going to a lecture on historical organisation theory, I would go home and listen to the 37 minute pre-recorded version. And using the saved time to watch King of the Hill DVDS.

My coordinator being away for today and tomorrow. Is almost as good as having a day off myself.
Stole some chocolate bars from work- got a nice stash, like half a dozen bars. Had one of the mars bars tonight- BAM ANOTHER FREE MARS BAR. (1 in 6 a winner). ANOTHER FREE CHOCOLATE BAR.

We have this carnival day at school every year, they give the kids chocolate bars on their way home. These are the (left over) chocolate bars i stole.

I remember one time, I was "cashing in" another free mars bar at a BP petrol station. The girl said, just grab anyone off the shelf. There was plain wrapper ones, and the competition ones... and yup scored ANOTHER FREE MARS BAR.
Was the best day.

Getting life membership at my football club.
Bruce Springsteen. Sunny days in the mid 20s. Music.
Being a colts player watching our league side win the Grand Final from fifth was pure joy even though I didn't play.
Cant begin to imagine how the players felt!

Wasn't expecting it at my age (under 30) so I was pretty stoked. Been there since I was 6 and played over 300 games and coached 40 odd junior games.

- Being on holidays in no less than 3 weeks time, for a total of 7 weeks.
- Second day of above holidays, will be in an apartment by the beach in Qld.
- Listening to an old 80s song on the radio I havent heard in ages, singing along, giving me massive flashbacks to the era (and the movie "The Big Steal")
