Jumping queues at movieworld coz im a loner with no friends

I really don't understand why a lot more people don't purchase rapid passes at places like Movieworld. If you are going to go to the expense of going to these places surely you would fork out the extra $25 to get ahead of the queue. Mates and I went to the Gold Coast at Easter when Essendon were playing the Suns. We purchased the rapid passes at both. It was great walking past all the plebs too stingy to fork out another $25.

I had NFI rapid/fast/queue jump passes existed. When I got to Movieworld, my slow af transfer was pissing me off (left hotel at 9.15am got to park 10.30am) I was just hellbent on getting on rides and rushed thru the turnstiles.

Anyway I found out afterwards the $25 one only jumps you ahesd of 4 rides, $60 gets you unlimited but not Arkham Asylum so **** that. Am kinda glad I didnt know about it I managed to do: Superman 6 times, AA 3 times and Green Lantern once. (In about 4 hours)

The park needs way more rides tho. Compared to AMERICAs park they are shit.

i thought with your experiences at USA theme parks, the fastpass would be first and foremost in your mind when planning a trip to movieworld.

Not really. Like I said- I was like tunnel vision I missed the signs going in. Anyway, being a single I managed to jump probably 6/10 queues anyway. Esp Green Lantern, lol I jumped almost the whole queue on that one, saved 30-45mins easy.

pros of being alone there is as youve said you wait in line, but often single seats are available. you raise your hand and on you go!

is movieworld on the gold coast?

Dreamworld is way better than Movieworld for rides. The Batwing and Superman are the only decent rides at Movieworld (Arkham Asylum gave me a sore neck and headache). Dreamworld has heaps.

Did your family fortune come from Hudsons?

Legit question, otherwise I have no reasonable understanding on why an objectively average (By its literal definition) coffee place gets so many kudos from you.

I love Hudson's Coffee. It's not bitter, it's not too sweet, it's brewed just right for my taste. I've never had a bad or even average coffee from there.

Family fortune? Gee, we're not the Packer family.
