Bullying kids in GMod. Had this one kid going tonight where I'd just say "shut up, nerd" on mic every time he'd say something. In the end, I had everyone on the server killing him under the reason that "being a nerd is a killable offence". He nearly had a mental breakdown haha.

Don't know what age has got to do with being treated equally - for some it's no big deal, for others it's a sensitive issue. I'm sure there are things that some men are sensitive about.

If we are talking equality, when was the last time a males outfit was put under the microscope, or his weight, hairstyle or this ripper I saw the other day "famous guys with ugly wives"

"asking females how old they are" being off-limits comes across as a bit patronising. we are not living on the set of some sitcom where if you ask a woman how old she is the audience will go "oooooooh" before the woman delivers a devastating, snappy one-line response.

it works both ways. ask a strong, powerful woman and she may take offence. if you dont ask her, others may take offence.

equality is such a tough one. i dont think anyone here thinks men are infinitely "better than" women. there are obviously examples of sexism in the annuls of history. I think the internet has allowed greater opinion, debate and arguments to be had about this where there not only is no black and white, but no 0 and 1.

another example is sexuality or women, and harassment. again, internet has allowed social media "personalities". im sure men do it too, however in this post ill specify women who flaunt their bodies online and complain when harassed on forums/posts/replies to their photos. whether they're strippers, prostitutes or whatever. can people comment on their appearance or do they run the risk of having innocent comments construed as online abuse?

Forgetting about this thread for a month and then having 20 pages to wade through, reading what makes all of you campaigners happy.

Went for my first 'Pokemon hunt' the other night with a mate in Frankston. Went down to the beach, and it was amazing to see so many people out, late at night, all walking around having fun. Random people were coming up to me asking what level I was, if I had caught the Charmander over there etc. I know it's just a gimmick and it might not be very popular in a couple of months but it's still good to see.

My 3d printer brings me a fair amount of joy

At uni a decade ago, I got to play with one that would have cost $10000+ easily.
I now have one sitting on my desk, that I paid $500 for.

It works a treat too. Not the quickest available but you can't fault the final product
I've seen printers 2-3x the cost of mine, struggle to achieve the same quality

Now I just have to come up with some practical things to print, not just cool shit
