Then you meet people who treat you like crap and have low self esteem themselves. Now that you recognize you have low self esteem DO something about it. . Now. Before you meet someone. Make it a job. Google self esteem. Dont look for someone to fill a hole in your life. Fill up your life and truly love yourself.

Rachel, i met this girl on a dating site, she was a little chubby but seemed nice. Overlooked it because the chatting seed.natural and we seemed.to have a bit in common. We chat for 2 or 3 nights on the site and we exchange numbers. Boost to the confidence acheived.
The next morning I wake up and feel awful, so I take the day off work. She texts me at 630am, and days good morning babe. This is the first text I've gotten from her. I play it off and say good morning back, and go back to sleep.
When I wake at about 11, there's more messages. About 14 of them.. This chick whom I've not even met yet decided that she'd start planning for us to be together, and also hits me with a series of bizarre questions - the one that sticks in my mind was if we were having a spa together, which hotel in the blue mountains would you like it to be in, and what variety of wine would be there.
Being the naive idiot I am, I play these off too and reply but only with short replies, hoping that she gets the message that she might be overstepping the boundry. Continue to bounce texts around. Starting to get more and more unconfortable. I had to charge my phone in another room,.so I put the phone down for an hour and did something else
I came back after that hour to 20 texts... Pictures were included. This chick.that looked kinda cute on her pic on the dating site was unfortunately not. In fact she was about 40kg bigger than her pic suggested. I'm no oil painting at all either (couple here can atest to that) but this looked like joffa in a skirt
2nd to last text said that she loved me
