I dunno about kids being fine in 60-70k zones. Pretty sure traffic injuries and deaths are way down on two decades ago.
Few years back but this little fella crossing popped out from behind the back of a bus going the opposite direction as me on to the middle of the road after school. Slammed on the brakes and despite the massive scare to both of us thankfully stopped just a few metres short. Wasn't my fault but if I was doing the wrong thing going 70 instead of 40 would have almost certainly ran him over.

Bill Shorten says Slater is 'telling the truth'
Former federal Labor leader Bill Shorten said Michael Slater was simply "saying what a lot of people are thinking".

Appearing on Channel Nine, Mr Shorten said it was "not right" to leave Australian citizens standard overseas.

"Michael Slater is saying what a lot of people are thinking," Mr Shorten said.

"I think Mr Morrison should have created special quarantine facilities here. He's had 16 months.

"Michael Slater is just telling the truth."

Mr Shorten doubled down on his comments later in the interview, saying Mr Morrison had failed as a leader.

"I think it is disgusting that Australian citizens can't come home to secure facilities," he said.

"I think it is a complete failure of leadership."
Oh, look who’s popped his head up 😆

Was at the supermarket queuing up at the checkout for people doing a big shop. A lady behind me had two items asked to jump ahead. This is not a big deal, but I can't understand why she couldn't just go through the self checkout when it's virtually empty, it's not hard. I just think people who do a big shop already have longer waits don't need more people clogging up lines when there's perfectly good self checkout free.

If it was just 10kms over with no kids around I'd definitely have sympathy but 25?

I've heard of someone getting done doing 10 over at 3.55pm, that's a little dick-ish by the cops.

Because I didnt see the ******* school, or the sign...what,you want to come around and spank me or something?
Get f’ed.
Your just a pompous prick on these forums.
The complaining on here about:
1. Doing 30 kms over the speed limit is bad enough
2. Then complaining how you got caught driving without a license was even worse

Im going to predict you'll be back driving before you get your license back

People who complain about breaking the law sh*t me, especially those who do it driving - driving a potential deadly weapon, especially around schools when speeding

Once are twice a year I'm usually required to make a donation to the Secret Policemen's Ball for my choice of baccy. It's an occupational hazard, do the crime do the time.
