Why bother watching the victory celebrations of the lizard people?
The only differences to Trump for the next four years are:
- less twitter
- more fawning and sycophantic press
- full demonisation of anyone who failed to vote for the correct party
- more warmongering and sanctions against anyone or any country that stands up to the US or threatens corporate interests
Trump had his faults - yes, he had some, it is known - and I genuinely believe that, execrable person that he is, he genuinely went into the presidency with the intention of draining the swamp and making a difference to the Washington apparatus. He, and possibly the rest of us, did not realise how deep it was nor the sheer numbers of creatures involved. They made his presidency hell and came out the other side unscathed and even more entrenched.
Think the creeping authoritarianism over there is bad? Watch this space. Harris - through puppet Biden - is about to unleash.

Our IT system at work being down. Thankfully I am working from home and have managed to get a few things done around the place.

A dozen or so soldiers were pissed off out of there because of "right-wing extremist" views (wrongthink).
Even so:
Not sufficiently comforted by a massive police presence and 25,000 National Guardsmen helping to seal off President Joe Biden’s invitation-only inauguration, some Democrats reportedly wore body armor to the festivities.
Apparently spooked by the January 6 election-fraud protest that bubbled up into the US Capitol riot, US Representative Ann Kuster (D-New Hampshire) and several other House Democrats wore body armor under their jackets, Politico reporter Sarah Ferris said. ABC News and other outlets also reported on the extra layer of protection that some Democrats wore.

She’ll be President soon enough. I really don’t get this stuff about Biden lacking in physical or mental capability compared to Trump. I agree it’s not ideal to have that generation leading though.

After copping a pile-on on social media he had to come out and correct himself and say he meant 11.
There were lots of funny comments but most said that obviously the 12th boat was the Ruby Princess.
