no worries.Absolutely, there is a pride parade in Melbourne every year. Brisbane I believe also has one.
Not offended at being excluded, more annoyed by hypocrisy.
All minority groups are for equality, just so long as they are slightly more equal than others
and they all voted yes when it matteredHe's a ****in religious loon though.
Labor are supposed the progressive ones left of centre.
Only when it was finally 'cool' to. When in actual power didn't want it though.and they all voted yes when it mattered
Current PM voted no
certainly none of them had the balls to do it, instead wasted millions of dollars on a surveyOnly when it was finally 'cool' to. When in actual power didn't want it though.
All it took was the right timing and a conscience voteOnly when it was finally 'cool' to. When in actual power didn't want it though.
Incorrect. Gillard always stated , while PM , that it was her parties policy to be opposed to SSM and she followed her parties wishes.Yeah I mean we used to only recently still have a Labor PM Julia Gillard that was against gay people being married. We've come a long way.
It explains it hereIncorrect. Gillard always stated , while PM , that it was her parties policy to be opposed to SSM and she followed her parties wishes.
But I am sure you will post the links where she states she is against it
Interesting. I had heard her on numerous occasion say her party supported a traditional marriage and that she supported her parties positionIt explains it here
TLDR
basically she didnt have the numbers and thought she needed the support of Conservative Unions more than progressives
The SSM plebiscite isn't looking like a masterstroke now
Unless the polls are massively flawed, a plebiscite on same-sex marriage will deliver a big majority for change. That could be a problem for Malcolm Turnbull given the schisms in his party.www.abc.net.au
The timing of this comment after the previous few pages is well placedMy bloody armrest on my office chair it keeps getting caught in my short pocket and ripping my shorts
It reminds me of an Album cover from my yoofThe timing of this comment after the previous few pages is well placed
Believe whatever spin came afterwards but pretty sure she voted against it mate. If that's not being 'against' something I don't know what is.Incorrect. Gillard always stated , while PM , that it was her parties policy to be opposed to SSM and she followed her parties wishes.
But I am sure you will post the links where she states she is against it
InterestingI find many threads on here being spammed and derailed with political sh*t usually by the same handful of pea brains pretty boring, I don't come to a 'General Discussion' board to read about politics. If I want to do that there is a place called the SRP.
Mate it's obviously not gonna change despite my protests so may as well run with it and question the pile of pom pom wavers in here.Interesting
This happens to me a lot too and I don't know why.My bloody armrest on my office chair it keeps getting caught in my short pocket and ripping my shorts
My folks had that one. I went through a phase of buying all of those type of albums I could a few years ago. I may actually have it again. It reminds me of an Album cover from my yoof
Except my bums uglier
Where am I suppose to put my arms though?Your mistake is having an arm rest on your office chair.
I like to think I have a massive collection but I'm not sureOne of my exes had a massive collection of those sort of albums.
