That interview of his with Prince Charles was so ******* embarrassing.
Most of his old interviews are cringeworthy with all his umming and aahing, he struggled to string a sentence together. I think his main strength was his ability to identify music talent and make contacts in the music industry, he was pretty good mates with a lot of big name rock stars back then.

People who continually call you back and leave multiple voice messages.

E.g. I called someone this morning and left them a voicemail. Since then I've been in meetings and now I'm having a coffee and planning a training session. I haven't had a chance (until now) to call them back. They have left me SEVEN voice mails since 11.30am. **** OFF.
I have about 10 people I know who will either leave a message, or stay on the line long enough to hear my whole voice mail and leave half a second of empty air on my ******* voice mail. These are people who know damn well that I'll call them back when I see a missed call! And if they do leave a message, it's along the lines of "Hey mate, can you call me back?". Shit, really? I've got a missed call on my phone, does that mean you want to speak to me? ****!!!!

Yep. Not even roadside assistance or anything. You'll pay anywhere from around $1,800 to $3,500. It's all run by the provincial government so you can't even shop around like in Australia.
Holy shitballs Batman  Why so expensive?

If the price is that high then third party or no insurance would be better options.

No insurance is illegal. Third party doesn't give you that much of a discount so you're better off paying for full. Just government filling their coffers. On the upside, it means there is no limit to claims. Considering I had a big accident a while ago that will help me.

Take the good with the bad I guess. Some things are way cheaper. Energy, for example is all hydro. I pay about $20-$25 a month for utilities.

When plans conflict with each other. Got a work party tomorrow night which I've been looking forward to going to, but have now found out that friends back home are catching up for dinner tonight, then tomorrow my mates from school are going out to the Murray with their boat and asked if I want to come.

Torn between staying in Melbourne for the party, or heading home in the next few hours to go to dinner, then to the river tomorrow. Hmm. Not feeling well either so kind of worried if I stay for the party I won't feel well enough to drink anyway.

I hate car insurance time. I get a discount of over $1,000 due to perfect record but still have to pay almost $2,600.

Pity no insurance wasn't illegal in Australia
Won't ever bitch about my car insurance again - at least until the next renewal arrives
A couple of years back I was writing some software for a company who's main clients were insurance companies. The profit and loss graphs were staggeringly one sided. You know they are making a ton of cash, but I probably didn't expect it to be such a high profit margin.

I sold my soul a little bit on the contract :(

Girl backed into my car without insurance, I'm fully covered. AAMI didn't even charge me for the claim and are chasing her for the $2k repair bill. Fantastic!

Girl comes into my work and shows me the bill "I'm not paying that!" so I printed out a $180 quote for 3rd party and gave it to her, letting her know maybe that would be easier to swallow, and GTFO it's nothing to do with me!

I'm guessing that includes the TAC et al compulsory third party personal injury insurance though that everyone pays when they renew their rego here. You pay that and then you have to get comprehensive as well in Australia. I reckon people with a decent car would pay a couple of grand here easy enough with both combined.

I drive a shitbox and have only went with 3rd party, fire and theft since I put the car in my own name. The insured value of the car has gone down over time while insurance premiums have went up. Insurance companies have their cake and eat it too. I actually got my AAMI renewal for 3rd party fire and theft and it was for ~$300. Car was insured for $1500 with a $500 excess. You'd have to be an idiot to sign up to that. Ended up taking out 3rd party for about $130 with RAA as have other premiums with them. No doubt some campaigner will steal my car now but ******* hell you can't pay an extra $170 to effectively be insured for $1000 that's just bs. I'll take my chances.
