My mum just has to bloody do something for my birthday I have no choice. I never want to do anything, just sit at home and chill with my wife and kid. But if we don't go out they'll all just rock up at my house anyway.
Ask for something extravagant, mums love to spoil their children. But on one condition, you have to invite me.

How does this happen? Peer pressure?
Talking about family. I like how family members make the effort, but sometimes it can just feel forced especially when neither of us bother to make much of an effort for most of the year, then go to each others houses and kind of sit there awkwardly for an hour or so.

I had a few aunties like that, but it's finally stopped as I've gotten older.

Biting in the inside of your cheek when chewing food, I reckon I must have fat cheeks, do it a lot and the pain is immense.
Oh I hate that. Stab my gums all the time brushing my teeth too rushing to get out the door to work. Gives me the most annoying mouth ulcers.

In year 4 I invited most of the grade to my b'day party. I was a popular kid in primary school and had friends and reputation for throwing good parties before dad got retrenched.

1 person turned up. 1.

Redeemed myself in year 5 with a big party, and that was the last one. Have never thrown a b'day party for myself/had one thrown for me since I was 11.
