Hospital food... Yuck.
There is a guy in the same ward as me who loves it.
He said last night while he was eating his dinner, "This is great tucker isn't it?" (Meanwhile I was eating Subway that a mate brought in for me)
Then this morning he told me to make sure I order the roast beef and vegies for lunch.
ok mete

Some of it isn't bad- the roasts are usually pretty good for hospital food. Always avoid anything with mince in it though... eurgh.

People without dogs who go to a dog beach and then complain that a dog comes up and might sniff them.

Seriously we live on a giant island and you can have your pick of beaches but you choose the one with 100 bloody dogs on it.

Videos that autoplay on news websites such as news.com.au

By the time you turn autoplay off, it's already started playing and it doesn't save your preferences either, so you open up another news article and that video starts auto-playing as well. This one REALLY shits me.

If using Chrome (or more preferably Chromium) - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/flashcontrol/mfidmkgnfgnkihnjeklbekckimkipmoe?hl=en

If using Firefox - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flashblock/

If using IE - You deserve what to be punished (although admittedly a much improved product in the last couple of years).

Both will block flash but if you want to use the flash you just click on the flash symbol to make it run. Both allow you have a whitelist for sites (such as youtube) so you can have an entire site just autoplay the flash if you want.

Actually just thinking of this youtube has switched to html5 video player in the last few months and it's incredibly buggy. Is anyone else getting loads of "This video can not be played at the moment" errors? But funnily enough if I embed the video on Bigfooty it works no problems. I've tried removing all extensions from Chromium but still not love.

No drama's in Firefox as it's still defaulting to Flash.

That's not the point, I shouldn't have to be doing this. If I turn autoplay off it means I don't want the videos to ******* autoplay!

I tried flash control when someone suggested it on this topic beforehand, but it seems to block the youtube videos linked on BF and possibly even the gifs.

Then again, it's an easy disable and enable, click of the button I think.

Media web-site aren't designed with your preferences in mind. Their designed with how they can most "engage" with their end user in an attempt to get them to view advertisements.

There are solutions out there to circumvent these - Flashblock, Ghostery, Do Not Track, Ad Block, Ad Block Plus, HTTPS Everywhere, Collusion for Chrome. All extensions that any discerning Internet user should have installed.

It blocks all flash. To view the flash you then click which enables it. The view i see of the video's about 10 posts back are just a black box with the "f" flash symbol in them. I could white list bigfooty but I'm pretty lazy - which has ironically meant a lot more effort filled clicks to view videos on bigfooty.
