Being between sizes on one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen :(
Argh I know the feeling! Have the same problem with jeans all the time, Sucks! The local alterations store is your friend though lady. Pain in the butt to have to go in and get it all pinned and tucked but worth paying an extra 30 odd bucks to get a perfect fit if you really love the dress.

Or like Caesar said, theres always the cheesecake route lol

Yeah jeans shopping is the worst. They didn't have the bigger size in the colour that I wanted and I wasn't going to go to the trouble of altering it for the other colour, if they did have the right one I would have bought it in a heart beat and done that though. It's just frustrating that the smaller one was too tight around the chest and the bigger one was far too big...on a strapless dress, not what you want

Ah, really no hope then, a lost fashion cause :( I feel your pain! Yknow I hope guys appreciate the utter simplicity they have when it come to buying clothes. Fashion can be (pardon the language) a real p**** tease for girls lol

If it wasn't a group project I'd definitely watch the footy but unfortunately there's 4 of us and working individually at this stage just isn't an option.
Group assignments shit me.

When was it given out? I probably would've told the group that I had an unavoidable commitment on Saturday so the group meeting would have to be before or after the GF. If there was sufficient time to do it in, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Actually started the project in February. Been at uni everyday over the 2 week holidays trying to get sufficient progress in our results to write a decent report. Gonna need serious cramming to get it done by Monday noon (due then).

Can't say I'm too disappointed that I missed the GF. Don't know anything about the game excpect the result and the fact it was a brilliant game of footy. Can't wait to watch the game Monday evening in the calming knowledge that Sydney lose. :p

What's the point of having group assignments when you know some people in the group will give a half-arsed effort.

Singular assignments should be the go.

Knowing sporting results in advance (sort of) and not betting on them
This whole season of crossover football and EPL whenever Hawthorn have won/lost, my EPL team Man U do the same. Today I thought even though the Hawks lost I doubt United will lose, especially at OT. Guess what......

facets of internet shopping:->

1. Amazon selling stuff which doesnt ship to Australia

^ Like... what's the point of 'selling' it if they dont ship to certain parts of the world?

2. Expensive shipping costs for small items (the shipping costs more than the actual item itself), ie $2 lighter fluid = ok $36 shipping = not ok

Where's the 'Things that please me' thread?

I wanted to say that it is pleasing when you skip a day of work on Wednesday to do a uni assignment due on Friday... only to find out (after going to the gym and watching an episode of Mad Men to round out several hours worth of procrastination) at 2pm that it actually isn't due until the following Friday.

Day of sinking piss watching the rest of season four of Mad Men with the house to myself?

Somebody up there loves me.

Understatement. BEst day all year so far, awesome weather, not too hot, not cold. No win. Awesome riding weather.
Just move to Perth, ripper weather pretty much 320 out of 365 days. Only problem is the lack of good riding roads, I like riding a few runs up in the Darling Scarp but Melbournians are spoilt for good riding roads.
