I'm sorry I do this guys. I ******* hate feeling this way
Don't apologise mate.

We're here for you. But yeah, like Mebby said, please call Lifeline if you're feeling like you can't get through the day.

And just know that you're not worthless. You provided a good living for family, you did everything right. This shit isn't your fault.

Do not be sorry.

Keep talking.

Humans thrive on communication - despite most males thinking otherwise.

I learned this myself just last year.
When I was going through a stinker a few months ago, I found comfort in sharing my experience and feelings with my mates.

edit - I've got a psych appointment tonight. tonight I'm going to tell him that I've thought about ending it. I can't do this alone anymore
You're not alone mate. We're just some randoms on the internet, we can be campaigners at times but I am sure we are all (or most) here to listen if needed.

Speak for yourself Quiv.

Mr_Smooth , do something to get your mind off how you currently feel. Be that sitting in a dark room with no computer/mobile and watching a couple of movies. Grab your favourite album, lie on the couch and just focus on the music. Go sit in a park and just observe what is around you.

I'd lay off the tinder/dating stuff for a couple of weeks as well, especially tinder. That's a place were people go to seek affirmation of their psychical self and will often put people down to feel better about who they are and discuss such things with their friends like it means anything at all. These are the kind of people you want nothing to do with and it's all an ego boost for some girls who want to spin a story to their friends about banging a guy that plays for the Box Hill development squad. F8CK that man. Do something nice for your kids, send them some movie tickets or something.

It's very hard to stop an active mind and at the moment it's like your stuck in a viscous cycle of looking for positives then getting a little setback which undoes all your positive thoughts in an instant. Keep fighting on dude, it will turn around :thumbsu:

yeah, I'm deleting tinder - I'm over it, it's done nothing but hurt
Probably a harsh & somewhat clinical view mate....But don't invest your feelings of self-worth in the opinions of random strangers on a dating site.

this was going to be my suggestion. good to see you've done it. Tinder is more miss than hit.

as Gough said just take time to yourself/your kids/your hobbies. if you want to get back into online dating in the future then do so through one of the more 'serious' ones.

**** tinder off. My boss used Zoosk, and the difference in quality of women (not looks, but attitudes) was completely different to tinder.

Edit: Should point out that I have never used it, no idea if its free or not or anything like that. Just going off his recommendation.

OMG- I'm walkin along minding my own business and over the PA comes "Can Ms Shell please come to campus reception... Ms Shell to campus reception".

I've been here 10 years- my name has NEVER been called over the PA. So I'm thinking
a. I have flowers
b. the Principal wants to see me.

Thing is Principal aint here.

Even tho it's not my birthday and i dont have a bf I am praying like mad... FLOWERS... I get to reception THERE ARE FLOWERS THERE. Receptionist: Oh you're here!!!!!! /excitedly.... "-insert campus director's name wants to see you!"

Turns out she just wanted to see how I am, been sick lately.

But it's ok... I'm focusing on what I have.. not what I dont have. :thumbsu:
