Thanks for the support all.

Even reading the last few pages was pretty tough, as through my daughters life, I learnt about palliative care and what they do and it really breaks your heart. I know if I was listening to someone talking from that industry talk on stage, I'd be all attentive.

Also the others on here also going through tough times and have kids, definitely stay in their lives as much as you can. It's something I never got to go through with my little girl, so I hope those lucky enough to have a healthy child/ren, that you don't take it for granted.
I worked in palliative care once upon a time. It was a long time ago, when I was young(er). A real eye opener.

11:44 and I am cooked. Unsure as to how I will get to knock off without a nap. I took a sleeping tablet last night, and I woke up in bed fully clothed with no recollection of what the hell happened.
There are other things to be annoyed about with sleep

Womens AFL league is called AFL Women's

2 things
(1) you may or may not know there was a thread perhaps 2 months ago on the MB bemoaning the fact that people refer to aussie rules football as "AFL". I that someone says they play AFL (which technically makes no sense to say I play australian football league). Girls and women will now start saying "I play AFL Womens AFL" lawl
(2) the apostrophe. AFL Women is?

They needed to make it possessive otherwise the feminists would make it out that it must belong to Men if they decided to run with the plural instead. Those Men would then automatically be objectifying women.

WOMYN;....You'd be wrong on that score.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Womyn

Womyn is one of several alternative spellings of the English word women used by some feminists.[1] There are many alternative spellings, including womban and wommon (singular), and wimmin (plural). Some writers who use alternative spellings see them as an expression of female independence and a repudiation of traditions that define females by reference to a male norm

That's one of the dumbest things I have ever read.

Also I'm still correct, I said you can't spell 'women' without 'men', not you can't spell a word which means the same as women without men...

Didn't think you were, was just more shocked at the content.
I had to study that crud at Uni....The only advantage I got out of it, was in being equipped to tear most feminist theory to shreds.

Has it come in handy?....Once or twice in 25 years or so.

Most feminist narratives & dialogues borrow heavily from Nietzsche, Freud & Marx....But their principal philosophical armature is grounded in Post structuralist theory....Fundamentally Nietzschean.
