I’ve lived with a drug dealer who had people from the pub snorting coke off the kitchen bench when I get home, and the random person yelling off the balcony at me asking who I was. I also lived with a lesbian couple who went through a horrific break up and I was the middle person in the end between them.

I think it’s just pure laziness on the washing side of things, see what comes of it when they reply. The food stealing thing I’ve expected to happen in sharehouses but it just never has until now?
Ok granted those are worse. My only sharehouse experience of sorts was my on-res apartment accommodation on exchange. Those girls were gross and lazy with washing their dishes, but there was no stealing or real horror stories.

I feel like there are better housemates out there. I would flip out if anyone was doing that to me.

Just gotta get through until I can afford to rent a unit or a studio or a granny flat or the like.

They aren’t that bad here, what they are doing is the couple of things that gets on my nerves.

Otherwise they are great; introducing me to their friends group as that was the whole reason for me really moving in here, typically pretty quiet at night, I start early so I’m in bed pretty early generally whereas they can party during weekdays as they work arvo/nights, one of them likes making random alcoholic drinks and cocktails and just keeps bringing them out. So yeah it’s not all bad, but I have a couple of things that irk me and they’ve managed to hit them.

Both of the aforementioned housemates sound like a massive missed opportunity to me.

People who feel the need to take photos of their meal. Mother in law photographs every ******* meal! Yesterday we are eating Pizza on the croisette and she spent 2 minutes taking photos of everyone's pizza. **** off with that shit and just eat.

Oh and watching people eat shits me, also the sound of people chewing. It's a big issue I have. I need to find an island.

Nothing wrong with it if you're having something different but don't know why people do it with generic foods like pizza and burgers etc

Yeah agree with that, but this is every meal no matter what it is. Plus she then needs to take a photo of everyone before they eat. I dont like having my photo taken and I'm becoming ever-less subtle. You'd have to be a moron not to get my signals that I dont want my photo taken before every meal I eat. I say ban camera phones at mealtimes. Maybe that's my next not-s0-subtle move. I put a ban on phones at the table.
