We need a plumber to fix one of the drains asap. We contacted a company around 10am and got told they are in a meeting and we will call you back. So I was like maybe they forgot? So I contacted them again this morning exact same response and received no call back.

Absolute bullshit

Following BMW drivers who have their fog lights on in normal night time traffic. None of them have twigged that it makes them look like they have their brakes on full time and it is a real distraction to everyone around them.

Or the car just does it automatically.
Nope. Fog lights aren't daylight running lights, they have to be switched on. Yes, when they are left switched on, they go on and off with the headlights. Highway Patrol are quite happy to give out tickets for improper use of fog lights, just not often enough IMO.

Fair enough. You mentioned BMW so thought it might have been the make. I have a Jeep and the headlights always go on low automatically. Doesn’t light up the brake lights though.

So I was lining up at Tullamarine airport to fly back to the Sunshine Coast. I then overhead someone say that the line I was in was going to the Gold Coast. So I slipped over to a gap in the next line. The guy behind me says, "Excuse me. We were lining up". I said that I was too but was in the wrong line. But he insisted that I move. His wife said to him "It really doesn't make a difference. I said to him, "If it makes that much difference to you" and went a few places back. When I saw them when I got on the plane I said, "Look at that. We're taking off together".

A touch of Seinfeld in that.

since when is cutting in line okay?
It wasn't cutting in though. It was changing lines. I was lining up. I just happened to be in the wrong lane. He saw that and decided to be a prick about it. It's not as if I was stopping him from getting to the Sunshine Coast any quicker. Even his wife told him he was being ridiculous.

It was cutting in. You should have actually asked the people first, they would have probably let you in though.

Oh and up the shops yesterday had someone say g'day and have a chat, literally no idea who it was. I'm not great with names but nearly always remember a face, possibly the first time ever this has happened I reckon. She seemed nice, we bonded over the craziness of the late Sunday arvo mercy dash to the shops but no idea where I know her from. (She probably wanted the D obvs)

Lol this makes no sense. Lines don't have lanes like a highway, you were in different line and cut in front of people waiting in a different one. The second part of your post is classic excuse making from line cutters.
