This amused me mildly.

I've never had a 'can't eat this any more' food. Would be f’ed if you couldn't eat something you love/something that you use all the time in cooking. Being allergic to eggs or flour (like an actual coeliac, not a trendy "I'm gluten free" poser) would be a PITA.

I had it with dairy in my 20s.

Eat dark chocolate 70%+ which doesn't contain any added milk. We found that it was any dairy consumed by my wife that made our little one have digestive and reflux issues.

I reckon men are fussier about beer these days.

If you offer a woman some plain old Dairy Milk or a Kit Kat or whatever she'll say yes. Offer a bloke a beer and there's a good chance you'll get follow up questions.

How about two $100,000 donations from a Chinese businessman who is a "generous" and "public-spirited" member of the Chinese Communist Party and in return they were looking at making him a list MP pretty much guaranteed to get into parliament? There was no suggestion that there was anything improper, of course.
