Guys only clean up when girls pressure them into it.

It's the nature of the slob.

For some reason guys can look at a full bin or a stacked sink and just think eh' maybe later and for girls the same scene causes some kind of natural survival instinct to kick in. MUST CLEAN NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! EXTERMINATE GERMS!!!!!

muttweed is advocating instant cleaning as soon as eyes are laid on a mess.

Guys don't mind if women clean up after them but don't like being told when to do it for themselves. It's just not a priority.

It's either clean up straight away (don't care what gender) and save the arguing, OR leave it till later then fight with your partner.

Or you can y'know, get the wife to calm down about chores then live in a pigsty...but we all know how hard it is to change a woman's mind in the first place (including me).

Just clean it and get it over with. With age and maturity comes responsibility

The bitchiness in the soprano crew was rampant.

"he called my wife this"
"he called me fat"
"did you see the way he looked when i said this"
"he likes the girl i like"
etc...

This was a very large component of the show muttweed, I'm surprised someone as intelligent and aware of human behavior, as you clearly are, didn't pick up on this.

Apart from the end result being someone getting knocked, it was the same behavior women are accused of possessing.

It's a fictional show - yet many would argue it is brilliantly written with outstanding character development.

For character development to be good it needs to ring true.

And no muttweed, I'm not saying I hate anything in men so wont be starting a thread on that topic. I love all 'good' people regardless of their gender.

By all reports (read: factual data) this is how the mafia roll. They whack people for silly stuff.

Do you know that in the mafia (and also in Japanese business) that the bishes are restricted to what they can wear and how they can act according to their husband's social status?

ie The wife of a mafia soldier, no matter how hot and glamorous she is, can not dress flashier than the wife of a made guy on a higher level.

Same sort of shit happens in Japanese business circles. The alpha male (could be CEO, could be business whale) gets the same treatment. A group goes and eats at a restaurant then no one os allowed to outdo the main man.

But in saying that I don't think either is really about being bitchy. The mafia thing is closer but it's much more about the male ego.
