Calling a yearmate in grade 5 an ABC.
Aboriginals use it to offend white australians, it means "Aboriginal Bum Cleaner"
Well you learn something every day. I heard the term at primary school, never had the faintest idea it was meant to be an insult.

It goes both ways.

If you ask someone if they're an ABC and they say no, you'd reply "so you're not Australian's Best Cricketer?"

If no, "so you're an Aboriginal Butt Cleaner?"

Anytime I say yes when friends or family ask if I can help them move house.

That is always a campaigner of a day.

Lending money over to certain family members with the "I'll pay you back" promise.

I am very uptight with lending money to anyone these days. Don't expect to see it back soon......
Lend us a fiver would you mate. Promise i will pay you back.

I liked the two Jap horses in the caulfield cup, Also like Adelaide in the cox plate.

Put a $100 bet on Bande (one of the jap horses) in to Adelaide paying about $10k

Bande got scratched, so I jumped on the other Jap horse Admire Rakti, backed it on the day but completely forgot about the multi I had intended to re put on, both got up of course, probably about 13k missed

When I was 18 I gave away my Super Nintendo and awesome game collection to the younger brother of a girl I was kind of half dating at the time.

Soon after the girl and I stopped seeing each other, so was left without the girl or the Super Nintendo. I asked for it back a little while later and they said they chucked it out when they moved house.

8 years later and I just bought a Super Nintendo though - so BACK IN THE GAME!

Christ. That was stupid of you. And then the stupid idiots threw it out.

Did a similar thing.

Gave this bloke all my yu gi oh cards after only knowing him 1 or 2 years and we weren't even friends, actually, I was pretty scared of him in primary school.

Dno why I did it. Mix of trying to be friendly and also being nice.

Regretted it pretty soon afterwards

Probably quitting playing footy. You tell yourself you're only taking one year off but you never go back

Disagree. I've been out for 5 years and back this year :)

Personally a lot of my "big" regrets have led to positive changes in my life so I kind of don't regret them. I think for the purpose of this thread I will say a few poor fiscal decisions in my early 20s putting me behind the 8 ball a bit.

Lucas knows where it's at.

I do also regret selling my Super Nintendo, though. I miss Yoshi's Island.
