I like Robert Downey Jnr, seems like a cool guy, and the fact he resurrected his career after going off the rails with drugs has just added to his popularity.

People can relate to bad boys like him more than a guy like Tom Cruise who has always been a squeaky clean Mr Perfect type.

Assuming this is an undergrad at an Australian university, I can assure you:
  • The work will be easy
  • There is no "social part of things"
Organise yourself a semester overseas for next year ASAP :thumbsu:

Yep.

And yes I will be for sure.

Maybe not. Cruise has far bigger box-office success over a longer time.

He tends to stick to doing big blockbuster films though while RDJ has done more low key films.

Work on Monday. Fu(* employers and their ridiculous expectations. Apparently rocking up and getting the business done is no longer enough. You now not only need to follow reasonable directives and fulfill your requirements but navigate politics, ensure managements egos are properly massaged, be a master diplomat and politician and participate fully in whatever half arse social event is going. Well f*(# that, if you don't like it stiff I'm fulfilling the requirements of my contract and no more.

Generally also don't look forward to major events and social functions. Sick of people their ridiculous demands and expectations and pressure applied. If I don't fit whatever hierarchy or social requirement of the day fine I've got better things to do, am hardly going to spend my time fitting in with the dictates of others. Just gets tiring hence I don't look forwrd to them.
