Ah well i suppose this week is your Grand Final and all the Melbourne players will be totally pumped,just like all teams when they meet Collingwood.

But i must say you gave us a scare last time we met.Well we had played scintillating footy aginst the dogs the week before in 30 degree heat.That would have taken a lot out of us.I suippose we came into the first match
totally unaware that the Dees would run us off our feet.
We nearly paid dearly and just scraped over the line.

But this time 11 rounds in we will be ready for you.Your younger players like ours will be tiring and the weary legs will show through.
Although we have a very even side we have more experience than the young dees to drop this game.

Good luck but this time Pies by 30 points.

Whether you win or not this week is not all that important in the scheme of things.

Come on guys get excited about your team.Know that the Dees have got the most exciting young players in the league.Still have a little way to go but as the young bodies mature the Dees will be a force to be reckoned with,couple that with a senior group of players like Macdonald,Slyvia,Davey etc and you all have lot to look forward to.

Think of the teams like the dogs,Brisbane what are they going to do when their older stallwarts leave their respective clubs in a year or two,and all the draft picks are taken by the Gold Coast and West Sydney.

The Dees will be regularly playing finals in one to two years.

This is only the beginning of good times ahead At least the team is showing strong signs of vast improvement to come.

Having watched you in Round 1 and watched us in Round 1, I thought we would pump you by 20 goals.

Given we needed a bit of luck, some umpiring intervention and some genuine desire to just get over the line by 1 point, I think our players thought the same thing.

I don't think there is any danger of complacency this time, so hopefully we should get over the line by 4-5 goals.

Gysberts should give us a few turnovers by kicking to his childhood heroes

IMO it will be a drawn out affair where Collingwood will have our measure and accumulate a winning margin of about 7 or 8 goals.

It will be a very young midfield we will be fielding. jones, Macdonald, sylvia out so our starting midfield will be scully trengove, gysbert, moloney and probably a jetta or a mckenzie.

If 'wood don't do their homework and shut down the corridor and have sufficent pressure, miracle on ice will be on show but if 'wood tick all the boxes, it will be over after 20 mins.
