Agree with what you're saying FG, although I don't mind people expressing critical views where it's warranted. In fact, i prefer balanced critique to people getting offended by the suggestion that all our list are not playing like stars when we're outside the 8. But agree, some folk could consider that, just because others' may hold a different view, it does not make them stupid. let's play the ball and not the man.

I've only just started posting on this board. Whilst this is only my third ever post, I do believe the previous two were incredibly articulate, insightful and profound.

And so it's with enormous disappointment that I see I have not been listed as one of the exceptional football posters.

And if it be true that the exceptional posters have had people take pot shots at them ... then I'm pretty pissed that no-one thought my dual posts were exceptional enough to take a pot shot at.

Sadly, it has come to this - PLEASE, if it be true that exceptional contributors have copped abuse on here, would someone care enough to abuse me.

Tell me I don't know anything about football. Tell me I haven't a clue. Accuse me of being a fair-weathered supporter. Something! ANYTHING ... just to feel valued.

I miss those calculations. Always enjoyed an idle fantasy about the alternate world in which north basically owned half the gold coast, and could contemplate buying out Jihad stadium and sacking that **** Collins.

It also occurred to me that if we had moved to the Gold Coast, by now we'd be sitting on squillions in compound interest and could consider giving GC the big eff you and relocating ourselves back to Arden Street.

I very rarely post in this forum anymore because I find most of the newer "supporters" to be idiots and fire away without little or no thought to what they have written. It's embarrassing.

I think our performance so far this season has been fantastic. Waay beyond my expectations. Finals beckon this year without a doubt!

Our young kids are developing at a rate of knots which should see a good handful of them talked about as being amongst the elite in the competition by the end of this season. There is no doubt our list is the envy of every other team in the competition.

And don't get me started on Brad Scott. WOW! Some of his team selections suggest that he is way ahead of his time, a real visionary. The game plan is rock solid and will serve us well, deep into September.

Generally speaking, I just couldn't be happier or ask any more from everyone involved.
