Someone could do an interview for the ABC if there was an issue of not wanting other media organisations to profit heavily from it. After the first tell all the market value of an interview about this would crash dramatically.

Tbh though if they get together and collectively get paid a large sum, as long as it's spread between all victims that's probably a good thing.

If someone is racing to be the one to give the first exclusive interview just to pocket cash for themselves then that's a little weak IMHO. The way this reads it sounds more like the former, so good on her if that's the case.
