So true. Havent watched this weeks but this Season has ramped up to another level. The depth of the characters, the steering away from cliche to brutal reality of how difficult family relationships are.

The mystery of Jack's demise has become less of a point of interest. In fact the how has become irrelevant. What they are doing with the children is showing how much of a devastating impact his loss had upon them back then, onwards and into their current existences.

By unpacking their relationships with him, his flaws as well as his unconditional love for them sees this show building towards an incredibly sad episode when the 'how' is revealed.

The writers are doing a brilliant job Season 2.

It has just got better.
