When Blu was born his parents knew he was destined for good things. As a baby he won numerous baby photo competitions. He just had one of those faces that made other parents jealous with envy.
He was like an angel. By all accounts his personality mirrored his angelic looks and as a young boy he took his rightful place in the church as the head altar boy. He was always very quick to help the priest pour (and drink) the communion wine.
Forging a life devoted to God was his initial plan, but it didn't take long before his true passion emerged. At night when the lights were out he dreamed of swans in a lake. He yearned to be one of those swans so in his teens he showed true courage by giving God the finger and putting on those very special slippers.
Blu became a successful and well decorate ballerina. It was about this time that Blu also discovered alcohol. He had choices to make. Would he spend the rest of his life doing simple Releve moves or would he follow his new calling of passing out at parties? It seemed he was destined to drink. And although he soon became a professional drinker, he couldn't quite escape his passion for dancing. In one last ditch effort to show off his dancing skills he received an invitation to perform on Dancing with the Stars. This became very fortunate as this is where he met Mrs Blu. Not only did he win the woman of his dreams, he took out first place against some amazing competition!!
Unfortunately his dancing days were short lived because the call of the Rum was far too great. He ended up breaking two legs in a routine that many would not even attempt. Those two legs were those of the judges sitting protected behind the scoring table. It didn't end well and he was banned from even tapping his feet to a song. Not knowing where he could take his new found drinking expertise he finally found his way to SFA where everything finally seemed to make sense. After spending 15 games at the Roys a certain cretin started whispering in his ear

My first interaction with BaT was when I recruited him to the Bombers.. He initially picked the Bombers in the sign up thread..
Then I got a PM from him saying he had 'changed his mind' and decided to help out the Roys.
I totally understood and as you can see, my reaction was one of respect for someone wanting to help out the 'little guys'..
I then thanked him for his consideration
Half way through the season, he messaged me saying he'd made an awful mistake.. he asked if he could come to the Bombers..
I asked him to meet up with me, so we could discuss terms..
And the deal was sealed..
Well done BaT, a pisshead, shit house skipper, annoying drunk, misogynist..
The quintessential Baghdadian.. and a true Bomber legend..
